Knocknamuckley and Low Quarter

We've had another two great nights over the past week - last Sunday evening we took part in the evening service at Knocknamuckley Church of Ireland (a beautiful, traditional large parish church with marvellous interiors and superb natural acoustics) and last night at the impressively refurbished Low Quarter Orange Hall near Magheragall, which turned into an impromptu 'jam session' at the end with all of the various singers standing together singing some classics, with accordion, mandolin, guitars - great stuff! Always great to see some faces we've met over the years and to share a cup of tea and an egg & onion sandwich or two. Thanks especially to Lawrence, Alison and Victoria tonight (as well as Fred and Peter) - we'll expect to hear big things ahead!

Two big Christmas events coming up, at Craigavon Civic Centre and then a special "Ulster-Scots Christmas Extravaganza" in the Spectrum Centre, Shankill Road, Belfast with renowned Scots language evangelist Jamie Stuart coming over from Glasgow - more info available here.

Then we have what has almost become our annual visit to the Iron Hall in Belfast - and then two months off for plenty of family time over Christmas and New Year.

It's been another very busy year, thanks to everyone who has helped, encouraged along the way. Hope to see you soon!
