Just back in from a superb evening in Coleraine. We had the privilege of sharing the stage in the famous Town Hall with the
Mwamba Children's Choir from Uganda in Africa, soloist
William Sayers,
Articlave Flute Band and
Soul Purpose (a male voice quartet from First Portglenone Presbyterian, whose members include
Frank Andrews - very well known in pipe band circles for his involvement with Field Marshal Montgomery Pipe Band - and
William Lowry, who must be the busiest singer in the country as he also sings with the Calvary Quartet!).
The evening was superbly compèred by
William Knox from Aghadowey (who, back in early 2008, was featured on Radio Ulster's "A Kist o Wurds" with his brother David, which was then broadcast UK-wide on BBC Radio Four) - and the Town Hall was filled to capacity with close to 350 people there.
